2021 Wedding Photography

The early signs are that 2021 is going to be a very busy time for weddings. Wedding venues are now seeing an increase on mid-week bookings for next year as couples find that most of the popular weekends are already booked. The knock on affect is that all wedding suppliers from florists to cake makers and DJ's to dress makers are also going to experience a surge in enquiries for 2021. This is of course a much need shot in the arm for the industry but the flip side is that couples will need to book early to avoid disappointment.

Photography is no different. The photographers that I have spoken to all say that couples whose weddings were postponed in 2020 have mostly re-booked for 2021 so as new enquiries start to come through there are less dates available than normal. The advice is therefore not to delay but to get booking early to avoid disappointment. You might even consider pushing your wedding back to 2022 when it's expected that things will settle back to the normal pattern.

Best wishes, Steve.
